I recently spoke at the West Galveston Island Property Owner Association to provide an overview of City activities. We discussed the City’s Budget, Beach Closures (there are no current plans for future closures), and the Police Chief’s review of Police Policies. We also talked about any potential changes to the Beach Access Plan, which affects all citizens but especially West End residents. The Beach Access Plan governs all things Beach related, from Beach Access Points to Beachfront Construction. I will keep everyone posted as to the status of this Plan as it progresses.
